This easy Snickers salad features Granny Smith apples, Snickers, and whipped topping with a drizzle of caramel and a sprinkle of toffee bits.
I share a lot of salads on my blog. From my favorite "salad as main dish" bowtie chicken Caesar salad to my kids' favorite easy Asian ramen salad. I've got salads covered.
But the most fun salad recipes are the ones for dessert salads. This cherry pie salad is one example.
And my mom's pistachio pudding salad is also a family fave. But this easy Snickers salad takes the cake!
Why is it called a salad? No idea! All I know is putting salad in the name of this apple Snickers salad makes it feel a bit healthier.
Plus it has apples. And chocolate. Chocolate has antioxidants, right? So basically a plate of Snickers salad with apples is at least two servings of fruit, getting you that much closer to your recommended daily allowance of fruit and veggies.
Total win.
Whenever I make this easy Snickers salad, it's always a huge hit at parties. Or maybe it's just me eating it all. It's hard to know.
Ready for how easy it is to make this dessert salad? Here you go!
How to Make Snickers Salad
Step 1: Core and dice apples; cut Snickers bars into bite-size pieces.
Step 2: Fold in whipped topping.
Step 3: Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve topped with caramel and toffee bits.
See? Easy peasy! Almost too easy in fact. Once you make a batch of apple Snickers salad, you'll want to make it for every family get-together and holiday party.
Want to make it even easier? Yes! I said easier. Instead of vanilla pudding and milk, go straight for the whipped topping. If you're going this route, use a 12-ounce container of whipped topping instead of an 8-ounce container.
I'm all about simplifying all the things, so I always reach for my apple slicer and corer for this recipe. I feel like it's a kitchen necessity, especially if I want my kids to eat more apples. They love using it to slice them, and then they dip those slices in peanut butter. Mmm...
Trust me.
