My preferred smoothies always include pineapple like this 4-ingredient pineapple cranberry smoothie and this pineapple peach green smoothie.

That’s not to say I don’t enjoy a good healthy chocolate caramel peanut butter smoothie or 3-ingredient peanut butter and jelly smoothie.

But really it’s all about the pineapple and this pina colada protein smoothie (or pina colada protein shake if you prefer) does not disappoint. It’s packed with yummy pineapple flavor and protein without being packed with sugar and fat.

I like smoothies that are healthy but don’t taste healthy… kind of like this protein-packed low-carb chocolate peanut butter smoothie.

Make sure when you’re whipping up this pina colada protein smoothie you use quality protein like Purely Inspired organic protein. It’s USDA-certified organic, dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free plus it has no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors.

I also highly recommend a quality blender. I have the Blendtec Designer Series blender but I don’t believe you need to spend hundreds of dollars on a blender (unless your blending daily). Pina Colada Protein Smoothie

This pina colada protein smoothie is an easy, healthy, delicious, protein-packed way to enjoy your favorite tropical beverage!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place almond milk, coconut milk, pineapple, vanilla protein powder, honey, and vanilla in blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
