We returned from Italy last week and I swear I’m still dealing with jet lag and serious pastry, gelato and pasta withdrawals. The combination has me wishing I could crawl into my bed with a large plate of lasagna and a side of amarena (cherry) gelato. Perhaps I’ll whip up a batch of these cookie dough pretzel bites instead—there’s a reason they’re in the top three.
As much as I love the top two most pinned recipes (sweet onion crack dip and old-fashioned iced oatmeal cookies), these cookie dough pretzel bites are my favorite of the three. If it weren’t past 10:00 p.m. and I wasn’t dead tired from spending a day with the kids at Cowabunga Bay, I’d bust out a batch of those babies tonight. One of the best things about these cookie dough pretzel bites is one truly does satisfy your sweet tooth, which makes it easier when it comes to portion control. Of course, if you can’t stop at just one, you can always give them away to friends and neighbors.
They’d be forever grateful, trust me.
