How Much Do Lobster Tails Cost at Costco?

You can find lobster tails at Costco for $40 per pound. The product name is “Northwest Fish 4-5 oz Cold Water Lobster Tails, 30-count, 10 lbs.” It is frozen and uncooked and contains 30 lobster tails, and costs about $399.99 in total. Costco’s lobster tails are available in Costco stores in both the U.S.A. and Canada. You can order lobster on Costco’s website as well.

Where Does Costco’s Lobster Come From?

Costco’s lobsters are caught in the rich, cold coastal waters of Canada and Maine. The lobsters in this area are large and fresh and they offer a subtle sweetness and succulent white meat. That’s why Costco’s lobster tails are some of the best on the market.

How to Prepare Costco’s Lobster Tails Before Cooking

Use your kitchen scissors and make a cut from the top to the bottom of the lobster tail and stop about ¼ inches before the tail ends. Now, with your finger, open the shell a little bit, being careful to not break the shell.

Clean the lobster as needed. After that, pull the shell at the sides of the lobster apart to reveal the lobster meat, being careful not to break the shell.

How to Make Sauce For Costco’s Lobster Tails

So many sauces exist for lobster tails but the best one is made of simply butter and lemon.

To make it, place a skillet over medium heat and melt 3 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Then, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice, and parsley and cook the mixture for about 2 to 3 minutes.
