Wonders of wonders, I have another post over on Today’s Mama: Utah edition. No, I’m not on top of things and posting like a madwoman. Rather I was posting on Today’s Mama’s test server for the past few weeks, wondering why only two of my six posts had been published. A WordPress error and a few emails later (thank you, Camille, for reminding this airhead about the correct server) and I’m finally back on track!
So here is the second of four backlogged fitness quick tips posts. Today’s is all about delicious and “de-lite-ful” alternatives to sliced bread:
Your typical sandwich bread has anywhere from 60 calories to 150 calories or so and a bagel will often add 200+ calories to your day. (Of course that 60-calorie “light” bread is pretty useless. Ever try spreading anything other than room-temperature butter on it? Good luck with that!) Whole-grain tortillas are a better option but not every sandwich translates into a wrap. The good news is you have options. The better news is they are really tasty options.
