Making your own Tiger sushi roll at home is a total joy and way cheaper than ordering it at any Japanese restaurant, most of the ingredients can be found either online or at your local grocery store.
The decoration is what gave this sushi its name, like the Volcano Roll Sushi, as you can see sushi is more than food it is really an art and I love making it.
What is Tiger Sushi Roll
Tiger roll is an inside-out Japanese sushi roll that has wrapped with an omelet, the filling consists of Korean lettuce, yakiniku, bean sprout namul, spinach namul, and radish namul.
Your Tiger sushi roll can also be topped with either masago or tobiko, both of these will really add a tasty flavor to your sushi. In general, you can add or remove any ingredient that you want that's what I like about sushi, though do not overfill the sushi or you may face problems while rolling it.

Is Tiger Roll Sushi healthy?
Yes, without a doubt you can safely enjoy this Tiger Roll Sushi as all of the ingredients are cooked and there is no raw meat in it unless you decided to put salmon or something. However, Many sushi rolls like Tekka maki have raw meat in them it might be delicious to eat it but there is a low chance that you could get sick from parasites, food poisoning, or mercury ingestion which is associated with eating raw fish.
So if you are serving raw fish sushi to your family I recommend keeping it away from pregnant women, older, and kids.
After all raw fish is perfectly safe to eat when you know to correctly prepare it, I mean people have been eating sushi for centuries without getting sick.

How To store your Tiger Roll Sushi
Either you got some leftovers from the restaurant you have been having your sushi dinner at or just from the Tiger Roll Sushi that you made at home and you want to store them, so you wondering what is the proper way to safely store the sushi and how long will it last? well, I got the answers that you need!
Sushi isn't recommended to be stored for too long for two reasons:
- Raw Meat:
When your sushi roll has raw meat in it should be consumed immediately and if you have chosen to store it you really should eat in the next few hours as the raw fish will start to develop some bad bacteria that you really don't want inside of your stomach.
- Bad Texture:
Storing your sushi leftovers in the fridge for too long will make it taste bad and change the texture of the ingredients like limp seaweed paper, harder rice.
However, here is how to store your Tiger Roll Sushi in the fridge:
- Start by wrapping each individual Tiger Sushi Roll or even pieces with clear film or plastic wrap tightly.
- Then you want to place your leftover Tiger sushi into a dry container with an airtight lid then into the refrigerator immediately.
- Properly stored, your Boston rolls can last for 24 hours in the fridge.
As I said Please Eat Your Tiger Sushi Roll Leftovers as Soon as Possible!

Tiger Roll Sushi Recipe Variation:
- After slicing your Tiger Roll Sushi you can top them with some Tobiko or Masago.
- You can use Yamagobo for the filling, this pickled Japanese burdock root is super delicious and also work for salads.
- If you want some raw fish in your Tiger Roll Sushi, then you can use Yellowtail Sashimi or salmon.
- Imitation crab or real crab meat is also welcomed into this recipe.
- You can place 5-7 pieces of your Tiger sushi next to each other and top them with the Crab Salad Topping as I showed how to make on Volcano Roll Sushi Recipe.
