Oh, how I love Blogust. It's quite possibly the only online blog relay where every comment you make provides a life-saving vaccine for children who need it most.
Last year my friend Jenny Eckton was one of the bloggers and her "Help the Child, Help the Mother" post had over 600 comments alone, raising over $12,000 for the UN Foundation's Shot@Life campaign.
Amazing. But then again, so is she. And so is Blogust.
Saving a child's life has never been easier.

Blogust is already under way, but you can still read all 31 stories of Moments that Matter—personal milestones in the lives of this year's team of Blogust contributors.
And this year...
One Comment = One Vaccine.
As Jenny says, that's good math.
Did you ever think your words (i.e., comments) could help save the life of a child? This year the United Nations Foundation and Shot@Life have partnered with Walgreens to make that possible. It takes less than 5 minutes a day to read and comment (maybe 15 the first day if you're catching up on past posts). That's less than 5 minutes to give a child a shot at a healthy life.
Follow along at ShotAtLife.org/blogust to find the post of the day and leave your comment.
NOTE: IN ORDER TO COUNT AS A CONTRIBUTING COMMENT FOR BLOGUST, THE COMMENT MUST BE MADE ON THE BLOGUST POST. Also, follow #blogust on twitter and Facebook. Please spread the word and the warm fuzzies that come from doing good.

Definitely going to be following along, and commenting. You think a dollar can't even buy us a Coke nowadays, and then you have a reality check like this.
