Yep, the first recipe I go to when I want to prep something from Pinterest is a dessert. What can I say? I rarely crave cilantro grilled chicken or spaghetti with radicchio and cehvre at 10pm at night. And by rarely, I mean never.
In fact, I tend to crave something baked and chocolaty, kind of like these brownie cookies:

We baked up a batch of these brownie cookies from pure & yummy last week and they are just as decadent and chocolaty and brownie-like as you'd think. They even come in a convenient portion-control size (as long as you eat only one at a time).
Sadly, though,I may not make these again. First, the dough was super runny and made transferring them to the pan a bit tricky. Then I had a really, REALLY hard time removing the brownie cookies from the pan. I used my trusty Silpat first and then tried generously greasing the non-stick pan. Perhaps parchment paper would've done the trick but I didn't think to try that until it was too late.
On the plus side, I burned a lot of calories getting those babies onto the cooling rack, which meant I could eat more cookies. Bonus!
Next time I think I'll try these flour-less, butter-less deep dark chocolate cookies.
What you'll need for the original recipe:
Butter
Unsweetened chocolate squares
Semisweet chocolate chips
Flour
Baking powder
Salt
Eggs
Sugar
Vanilla

Can I just use the brownies in a box and some how make them cookie shaped??
Emily
I think you totally could, though I'm not sure about how runny they would be. Maybe choose a mix you know is a bit thicker? Or add a little flour?

How do you like that I didn't notice I was typing in the wrong spot, and still submitted my comment. I am awesome.

Your awesomeness is a lot of why I like you. ;)

I love really gooey chocolate cookies. These seem to fit the bill.

You know, I'm not sure how gooey they are. They're pretty standard. I think you could definitely find something more decadent. Perhaps I'll do some research... ;)
