Before last Saturday, it had been at least 7 or 8 years since I’d set foot in a Justice store. My original impression wasn’t super great. The store was busy, overwhelming and pricey, and in my opinion, the clothes were a bit too “adult” for tween girls. But Livi has been begging to shop there since she was in 1st grade, so I thought we’d give it a second chance.
It was a MUCH better experience the second time around. The store was light and bright and easy to navigate. Essential items like layering tees and basic tees were grouped together as were holiday items.
We even found a dedicated sleep section complete with furry bedtime companions.
Unfortunately this mom doesn’t allow fuzzy companions of that size.
We couldn’t pass up this super cute #SNOWDAY snowman. Every tween girl (and grown girl) should have at least one awesome holiday sweater…with a hashtag.
She’s already worn it twice in the three days she’s owned it.
If Livi didn’t already have enough dresses thanks to hand-me-downs from two older sisters, we’d have snagged this little red frock and cardi for her Christmas Sunday church dress.
The most adorable thing we picked up at Justice (okay, it tied with the snowman sweater) was a set of matching t-shirts for Livi and her BFF. Lexi, our super helpful Justice team member, asked the girls their favorite colors and styles and then went on a hunt to find the perfect tee.
Found it she did.
The girls fell in love with it and I gave it my stamp of approval. It’s pink. And it’s mac and cheese.
Speaking of Lexi, she was amazing. She engaged the girls as I wandered through the store by challenging them to a guessing game of “guess the flavor of scented marker.” It was awesome.
I did find some of the prices at Justice to be a bit high ($30 for a graphic baseball tee?), but I’ve since learned the secret to Justice is shopping the sales and using their coupons. Speaking of sales, don’t miss out on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals! Starting TODAY, November 26th, Justice shoppers will receive a Style Perk with every purchase: $15 off of a $40 or more purchase redeemable through the new year. You can learn more about Style Perks here.
For inspiration, check out the Justice Holiday Gift Guide to find the perfect gift. While visiting ShopJustice.com, you can shop web-exclusive styles and sizes. According to Livi (and her BFF), Justice is THE place to shop for stylish tween girls this holiday season. Whether shopping in a local store or online, Justice makes it easy and hassle free to find tween girl-approved holiday gifts.
Just be prepared for the disappointment (and stomping feet) when you tell your daughter to choose something other than the polar bear snow hat because she already owns at least three snow hats.
