Holiday pumpkin dip

November 7, 2013 by Emily Hill 47 Comments

I am so excited to include this holiday pumpkin dip in the 4th annual Handmade Holidays: Bake, Craft, Sew Along with Rachel from Southern Fairytale, Kelly from According to Kelly and Cindy from Skip to My Lou.

Last year I featured roasted cinnamon almonds. You’ll want to eat the entire batch, trust me.

Like last year, each day this month you’ll find guest posts on all three sites around the theme of a handmade holiday. Rachel’s guests are dishing up recipes, Kelly’s are crafting and Cindy’s are sewing away.

Christmas has come early, my friends.

Today was my day to participate in the Bake, Craft, Sew Along and I’m pretty sure I whipped up a new recipe that will become your entire family’s new favorite appetizer.

Or dessert.

Or both.

This holiday pumpkin dip is absolutely divine; I highly recommend serving it with gingersnaps. Oh, and make sure you have at least two boxes on hand. (Not that we’ve ever gone through two boxes or anything…)

My friend Laurel brought this to a church gathering and we couldn’t wait to inhale make it again.

I like any appetizer or dessert that’s as addictive as crack and this one fits the bill.

Head to Southern Fairytale for the pumpkin dip recipe.

I try to come up with a unique handmade gift to give my friends every year. I think handmade gifts are so much more special than a store-bought. And I love making them every year!

For fall-esque holidays, my favorite is this cupcake recipe: http://www.mykitchenaddiction.com/2009/10/pumpkin-cupcakes-with-cinnamon-brown-sugar-buttercream/

I replace cream cheese for the shortening in the frosting recipe, but other than that, it’s perfect as-is. They are divine!
