Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball
 
 
This pineapple cream cheese ball features crushed pineapple, cheddar cheese and green onions ... a combination that is crazy delicious!

Ingredients
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 4 to 5 green onions, chopped (or more to taste)

  • 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • Dash garlic salt

  • Sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
  1. Beat cream cheese and milk together.
  2. Add green onions, crushed pineapple (drained), cheese and garlic salt and beat until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape into a ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Cover cheese ball with sliced almonds just before serving. (I gently pressed them on using my hands.)
Notes
I used low-fat cream cheese which makes the cheese ball a bit softer and nearly impossible to form into a ball by hand. We simply "sculpted" it into a ball on the serving plate and then gently pressed on the sliced almonds.
