Today was our monthly 90-minute endurance ride in spin class. That means 45 minutes in zone 2 (endurance) and 45 minutes in zone 3 (strength) with a final couple minutes in zone 4 (anaerobic). It kicks my butt every time, but thankfully the teacher has some great taste in music. Today she played “Jump Rope” by Blue October and I bought the MP3 as soon as I sat down to the computer.
Blue October — “Jump Rope”
It’s so very, very true—life is like a jump rope with its ups and downs.
I’m just glad mine hasn’t had any double dutch because that was one skill I never mastered.
