Yes, I said FIVE decadent hot chocolate recipes with only three ingredients, but that’s a conservative number. Depending on how many flavored sauces and syrups you have (and gallons of milk), you might be able to create 10 or more flavors of hot chocolate. For reals.
.
.
The basic hot chocolate recipe is simple: milk + Torani sauce + Torani syrup. That’s it. Depending on how you mix and match the flavors, you could end up indulging in a new hot chocolate flavor nearly every night as you count down to Christmas!
.
.
I narrowed the decadent hot chocolate recipes to five for three reasons. One, five is my favorite number. Two, I had only five matching white mugs. And three, I own a lot of Torani syrups but not ALL the Torani syrups.
.
.
Believe you me, if you start with just one hot chocolate recipe, you’ll be good to go. Your family will love you as will your holiday guests and anyone else lucky enough to stop by for an impromptu cup of gourmet hot chocolate. And guess what? You can whip it up in about two minutes—just long enough to heat the milk and grab the can of whipped cream.
.
.
I’m totally sold on the Torani sauces, especially the Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce (the most important hot chocolate base) and Torani Caramel Sauce. They’re delicious in hot chocolate but also atop ice cream and in shakes. I also adore the Torani Sugar Free Caramel Syrup and Sugar Free Raspberry. That raspberry syrup would also be fantastic in Sprite, while the caramel could make for a yummy variation on the classic hot cider.
.
.
By the way, did you know Torani is a San Francisco-based, third-generation, family-owned company that was founded in 1925? I honestly didn’t know it was family-owned nor that it has been around for nearly 100 years. I love supporting family-owned businesses; the fact the business produces such delectable syrups and sauces makes it extra easy. Torani’s original line is made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar and natural flavors. The company offers the largest variety of sugar-free flavors sweetened with Splenda™. That means all the flavor without all the guilt!
.
.
This holiday season, make sure to have Torani syrups and sauces on-hand for spur-of-the-moment holiday gatherings. I’m talking neighbors stopping by to drop of cookie plates (hot chocolate pairs perfectly with cookies!) or a church youth group doing some caroling (hot chocolate is sure to warm their bellies and their hearts!).
.
.
And as you can see from these five decadent three-ingredient hot chocolate recipes—and they’re just the top of the wintery iceberg—with Torani in your pantry, the possibilities are endless! Here are a few other flavor combinations that sound simply divine:
- Dark chocolate sauce + coconut syrup
- White chocolate sauce + peanut butter syrup
- Dark chocolate sauce + black cherry syrup
- Chocolate salted caramel sauce + vanilla syrup
- Pumpkin pie sauce (seasonal) + caramel syrup
